Dutch Harvest hemp tea (officially: hemp ‘infusion’) is made from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant.
Hemp tea is a mild, fresh, slightly sweet tea with a slightly tingling aftertaste. Some people compare the taste with that of green tea, but less bitter. Others call it a fresh version of a chamomile tea. Anyway, hemp tea has its own taste and the following applies: one sip says more than a hundred words. So try it and judge for yourself!
The hemp tea has absolutely no psychoactive effect, and this variant can also be legally grown in the Netherlands.
Hemp leaf and flower of the hemp plant contains the active substances CBD and CBDA (Cannabidiol and Cannabidiol-Acid). For centuries, the plant was therefore used as a medicine against various diseases, and now this activity is being rediscovered.
There are more and more studies showing the positive influence of CBD and CBDA on the immune system and the central nervous system.
The hemp tea contains only a low concentration of CBD and CBDA, which means that it can not be regarded as a medicine.
