Hericium erinaceas goes by many names, including lion’s mane and bearded hedgehog mushroom, and in China is also referred to as bearded tooth or monkey head mushroom due to its shape. It plays a special role in TCM and is associated with five organs: kidney, liver, spleen, heart and stomach.
