Raw Hemp Seed Butter is the product of finely ground and pressed Hemp Seeds into a smooth paste of virtually perfect nutritional value. Raw Hemp Seed Butter is made up of edible oils that contain all 10 essential amino acids and all 4 essential fatty acids including Omega-3 and Omega-6 in a perfect 3:1 ratio, determined to be the optimum requirement for long-term healthy nutrition. The combination is unique among edible oils.
The oil contained in the hemp seed is 75-80% polyunsaturated fatty acids (the good fats) and only 9-11% of the less desired saturated fats making it the most unsaturated plant based butter and a great alternative to peanut butter. Hemp Seeds are one of the highest sources of complete protein of any plant-based food, containing all of the essential amino acids. In addition, Raw Hemp Seed Butter contains vitamins A, C, D and E, phytosterols and minerals. It’s a great source of dietary fiber, magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium. It’s also high in healthy chlorophyll which gives it a lovely dark green tinge.
