Hemp Hearts: The raw seed with the hull removed. This decreases the fibre content but increases the available protein and also releases higher levels of Fatty Acids including the essential Omega’s 3 & 6. As these are not produced in the body they must be replenished daily. They have a delicate nutty flavour and soft texture making them a perfect additionto smoothies, breakfast mix, yoghurt and salads. Also delicious in dips and spreads like hummus and pesto. Can be used as an addition to rawor uncooked dishes and any or all no bake recipes – get creative!
